Is there a cenote at the hotel?
Yes. There's a natural cenote just steps from your room if you stay on our jungle side. It shares that side of the property with our main pool, Tulum Beach's largest, and with NÜ, where we serve dinner.
We're on Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila in South Tulum, the stretch locals call SoTu. The road runs between the jungle and the Caribbean, and so do we. Beach side or jungle, every stay here includes our private beach. The cenote is what makes the jungle side worth choosing on purpose.
The two suites that face the cenote
Two of our suites sit right on the cenote. There's only one of each, so they tend to go first.

The Jaguar Suite
The Jaguar Suite is the one for you if you want to roll out of bed and be at the water. It's on the ground floor, level with the cenote. The canopied king bed faces doors that open onto the deck, and the daybed out there sits at the water's edge. Your plunge pool is on that same deck.
Inside there's a proper living room, which matters more than it sounds on a rainy afternoon, and a bathroom with a round tub and a rain shower. Most people who book it end up spending the day between the deck and the bed and not much further.
The Oasis Master Suite
The Oasis Master Suite is one flight up, looking down onto the cenote with the canopy overhead. It suits you if you like a bit of height and a bit more privacy. The king bed rolls out onto the terrace, so you can sleep with the jungle around you, and the terrace also holds the plunge pool and a pair of sun loungers.
A spiral stair links the private living area to the rest of the suite. Worth knowing: there's no elevator, so it's stairs all the way.
What else is on the jungle side
The cenote isn't alone back there. Here's what sits around it.
NÜ Tulum: our jungle-side restaurant, dinner only. It's been in the Michelin Guide three years running and is in the Michelin Guide Restaurant Selection for 2026. The menu mixes modern and traditional Mexican cooking. If you're in a cenote suite, dinner is a short walk through the planting.
The jungle restaurant: Caribbean and classic Mexican food with a French hand, served tapeo-style, so plenty of small plates to share. We run one on the beach too.
The pool: Tulum Beach's largest, on the jungle side, for when you want more room than your plunge pool gives you.
La Valise Spa: massages, ritual massages and facials. You can book them at the spa, somewhere on the property, or on your own terrace. A massage on the Jaguar Suite's deck, beside the cenote, is a reasonable way to spend an afternoon.
Getting to the beach from the cenote suites
You don't give up the sea by sleeping on the jungle side. Our private beach comes with every suite. Towels and reef-safe sunscreen are laid out for you, and a team clears the sargassum every day. Shared bikes wait at the door if you'd rather ride along the road than walk.
Beyond our own cenote
The Yucatán has many more cenotes, and we're happy to get you to them. Ask us about Voyage Within if you'd like to build a few days around rest, movement, or the jungle. Our concierge books cenote visits, temazcal, pottery, and trips to the ruins at Cobá and Chichén Itzá. You decide how far you go.
Before you book
A few plain facts about staying with us:
- Age: we welcome guests aged 12 and over. Our size and the quiet are the reason.
- Breakfast: included in both cenote suites.
- Air conditioning: on around the clock. We ask that you use it mostly from 6 pm to 9 am, to save energy.
- Water: tap water isn't drinkable. You'll find purified water from our on-site well in the bathroom.
- Getting here: we're about ninety minutes from Cancún airport and thirty miles from Tulum's airport. We can book a private car any time up to a day before you land.
We keep things quiet here. No schedules unless you want one. A place for lingering, not performing.
